June-Ho Kim, MD, MPH

June-Ho Kim, MD, MPH is a faculty member with the Primary Health Care program at Ariadne Labs, Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and an attending physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Division of General Medicine & Primary Care. As the technical lead for the Research &Development work under the Primary Health Care Performance Initiative, he leads the development of novel indicators and data collection tools to measure the delivery of primary health care in low and middle-income countries and disseminate insights to key stakeholders and policymakers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he has led Ariadne’s efforts to identify and share global lessons in infection prevention & control from positive outlier countries. June-Ho also practices primary care and internal medicine in Boston with clinical and research interests in innovations in chronic disease management and payment policies for low-income populations as well as health disparities among vulnerable populations, including patients with HIV, hepatitis C, and opioid use disorder.


June-Ho earned his A.B. from Harvard College, his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and his M.P.H. from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Primary Care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Kim serves as a pandemic advisor for Stop the Spread, with a focus on elevation of global best practices for “Test Trace Isolate” models and vaccine equity.
